Field trips aren’t just for kids! TurnToTech’s students took a trip to the BuzzFeed office on East 118th Street to take a look around and hear what TurnToTech alumna Paola Mata and her co-workers do day-to-day. Android Info Session event recap
TurnToTech had a very international crowd at the Android Info Session on Feb 1st that included countries across the globe (the U.S., Brazil, and Korea for example) that came together to learn more about our Android bootcamp. Congrats to our students Alique, Bobby, Emiko and Juliana for winning TurnToTech’s hackathon last week! Their mobile app was called QuizMaster, a one person Jeopardy game that quizzes users Jeopardy-style. Julianna did UI and design for questions page and debugging. Bobby made game design decisions and coding the game engine. He also did some debugging. Alique made game design decisions, got the song, and formatted the data to what the game requirements were.
